Preparing for the Glory

Moses prayed, “Show me Your glory.” But before that, he asked God, “Show me Your ways.” That order matters. In Exodus 33, Moses refuses to move forward with the promise unless God’s presence goes with him. Even then, he asks to know God more deeply. As I share in this message, yesterday’s favor is not permission for today’s presumption. What does it mean to prepare for God’s glory? We look at the difference between seeing God’s works and knowing His ways—and why closeness to Him matters more than simply experiencing what He can do.
